Dr. Gary Hunninghake: A medical practitioner of 35 years, Dr. Gary Hunninghake retired from his position as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2011. Prior to joining the teaching faculty at the Carver College of Medicine in 1981, Dr. Hunninghake served in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps for seven years. During his accomplished career, Dr. Hunninghake achieved numerous awards for his professionalism and expertise as a physician and educator.
